Short version: the Chargeberry app doesn't collect anything about you: no account, no analytics, no tracking. This website counts visits with DataBull analytics, described below.

The app

• Chargeberry has no account and sends no analytics, crash reports or usage data anywhere.
• Your settings, the daily health record and the usage record behind Battery Wrapped stay on your Mac, in /Library/Application Support/com.chargeberry.app.
• A Battery Wrapped card only leaves your Mac when you share, copy or save it yourself.
• To check for updates, the app asks our update server for the latest version. That request carries the app's version and your macOS version, like any Mac app's update check, and nothing else.

This website

• Visits are counted with DataBull analytics: the page you're on, the site you came from, your browser's language and time zone, and your screen size. Like any website, its server sees your IP address, which tells it roughly which country a visit comes from. It may set a first-party cookie to recognise a returning visitor.
• Analytics never receives your license key or email: the page after buying takes them out of the address before analytics loads.
• No ads, no advertising trackers, and nothing is sold. The demo runs entirely in your browser.
• The web host keeps standard server logs (such as IP addresses and pages requested) for security and reliability, and deletes them on its usual schedule.

Your license

When you activate Chargeberry, the app sends your license key and your Mac's name to our payment provider, Dodo Payments, to activate it, and checks once a day that the activation is still valid. Your Mac's name shows in your list of activations, so you can tell your Macs apart when moving the license. The key is saved only on your Mac.

Buying

Checkout is handled by our payment provider, which receives what you enter there (such as your email address and payment details) to process the purchase and send your license. We receive your email address and license details, only to send your license and answer support requests.
